I love Robyn Donald stories but even with it's intrigue of odd arson, forged claim - I couldn't connect with the characters. I found Cade to be overbearing and Sanchia plain old boring. But I think it's a nice, lazy read - especially for readers familiar with rural NZ.
I am intrigued with the huge number of unhelpful votes on alot of Robyn Donald reviews. Anyone know why?
